Ursula K. Le Guin
Ursula’s prodigious body of work includes twenty-one novels, eleven volumes of short stories, four collections of essays, twelve books for children, six volumes of poetry and four of translation, and has received many awards, among them: Hugo, Nebula, National Book Award, and PEN-Malamud. Her recent publications include Out There, Poems and Images From Steens Mountain Country, the novel Lavinia, an essay collection, Cheek by Jowl, and The Wild Girls. Forthcoming in 2012, Finding My Elegy, New and Selected Poems. Ursula a long time member of the Portland writing community for several decades is always happy to join in a community event that brings readers and writers together. She lives with her husband Charles in NW Portland.
